At just 22 years old, Ashley was homeless and walking the streets. She was in a desperate and lonely place when someone approached her and offered a place to live. What followed was not an easy road.
Instead, Ashley was taken to a hotel, where she was trafficked for a year. During that time, she was introduced to drugs, became addicted, and felt completely lost. She eventually went to jail to escape that lifestyle — but even then, the journey to sobriety took years.
Yet Ashley’s story did not end there.
