Our hearts are still bursting from the incredible gathering of women where love, laughter, and generosity reached new heights. This unforgettable event was hosted by one of our Champions, Laura Lawton. Laura is the owner of Bash.
Initially, Laura set a goal to collect 50 pre-loved designer purses to donate to The rePURPOSE Project – an initiative of One Purse that empowers women recovering from abuse, addiction, exploitation, and trafficking by employing them to run an e-commerce purse shop where they learn in-demand job skills within a trauma-informed workplace. Thanks to the combined efforts of Laura’s incredible network, her goal wasn’t just met—it was exceeded. By the end of the evening, a total of 78 purses were collected, as well as much-appreciated financial donations, each one a symbol of hope and transformation.
The celebration took place at Cocina 214 in Winter Park, FL, where guests enjoyed delicious food and margaritas that kept everyone mingling for hours. Thoughtful details, like custom cookies and personalized party favors, reflected Laura’s signature touch and talent.
One Purse CEO and Founder, Heather Case, shared her story and the mission behind One Purse. With a captivated audience of Laura’s friends, family, and clients, it was a powerful reminder of the impact we can all make when we come together.
